Modification
A court order (or court ruling) is an official proclamation by a judge that defines the legal relationships between the parties and/or their rights and responsibilities. Such rulings require or authorize the carrying out of certain steps by one or more of the parties to a case. Some of these orders may be modified (changed) or terminated under certain circumstances with a properly filed request to the court and a subsequently signed order from the court.
